'Walk With Me In Hell' shipped gold that week and came in behind pop mainstay John Mayer.

The band is currently in Europe touring to support their latest album, 'Wrath', which exploded onto the Billboard 200 back in February, debuting at #2 and selling over 67,000 units in its first week.

We are currently en route back to Copenhagen after our show at the Sonisphere festival in Finland. This tour has taken us to several new spots around the globe and it has been incredible to find dedicated fans that have been waiting so long for us to arrive. It's been an honor to share the stage with Metallica and get to know them and their crew. They set an inspiring example from the show to how they treat the people around them and we have taken many a note. We have been welcomed as a band, as friends and as drinking buddies from the start. To be on a 7 week run that plays to no less than 10,000 people a night has been surreal. I can tell you first hand that it's not easy to open up for Metallica. If you don't have your 'A' game on every night, you could end up in trouble! Fortunately, we've been around the block a few times and handled it well, held our own and gained a lot of new fans. It's been an incredible opportunity.
As this seven week trek comes to an end here in about a week, we are excited to go home, but also very happy about how things have gone for us over here. We have seen a considerable positive change in the interest and fan base of the band with the new album 'wrath' and the help of our new international label, Roadrunner. We couldn't be happier about that and look forward to returning and continuing to find more corners of the globe to infect.
We will be home for about six weeks before we head out again with Metallica across the US and Canada for nine weeks, beginning in Nashville in mid-September. We played the west coast in late '08 with them for a month, but this time we're heading everywhere. We've got some killer headlining shows planned along the way and since we just hit most of the major markets on the 'wrath' tour in the Spring, we will be digging into many of the smaller cities around the US. If you're one of the many who write us and ask why we never come to your town, you'll be interested in this itinerary. I expect we will have it posted in the next couple of days.
Once we wrap up the US/Canada run, we head back to Australia and New Zealand in December, and that's just the beginning. The 'wrath' world tour will weave its way throughout 2010 and possibly beyond. We've got opportunities coming in to visit new places such as South Africa, Israel, South America, the Philippines and Russia and the list seems to get longer instead of shorter. That's a great problem to have. We are very fortunate and I can't wait to get out there and kick some ass. Hope to see you along the way.
Chris

Metal giants LAMB OF GOD have announced a live streaming of their upcoming show at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia on May 9, 2009. This will mark the first time the band has offered a live stream of an entire show to the public. The festivities begin at 9:30 PM EST on the band’s official website (www.lamb-of-god.com/media.html).
The band will be utilizing technology provided by KYTE (www.kyte.tv) for this special event. Fans will be able to choose from several different camera angles around the stage as they watch the live stream of the band’s performance.“Since we can't seem to play every town and can't possibly fly you all to ours, we came up with a way to play your house,” says drummer Chris Adler. “Mosh with Mom! One time only metal stimulus package! This tour has been amazing and we hope you enjoy the show!”
Chris Adler used KYTE during the recording process of their new album and has continued uploading video blogs and streaming live content since the release of their fifth studio album WRATH. The band has also been offering live web casts to their fan club located at: http://www.lamb-of-god.com/congregation.html.
This exclusive look at a live show is the latest innovative promotion from Lamb of God. Recently the rockers launched an “Escape the Plague” contest where fans who purchase one of the first 100,000 copies of the new CD can win a BBQ with vocalist Randy Blythe, special Lamb of God equipment, or another one of 100 available prizes.
Currently, Lamb of God are headlining the NO FEAR ENERGY tour and are supporting WRATH, which was released on February 24th of this year and debuted at #2 on the Billboard Charts.
